This Commission was created in 1986 and is responsible for advising the Board of Healing Arts on the licensure and regulations of their respective disciplines.  In addition to meeting and deliberating on licensure applications and complaints against licensees, the Advisory Commission is responsible for responding to questions from licensees and other entities about the statues and rules.  The Commission is also responsible for drafting amendments to the statutes and rules that govern the practice of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists.
